Catherine Watson Genna, BS, IBCLC maintains a private lactation consultant practice in New York City while writing and speaking internationally on conditions which affect infant's suckling abilities. She is an avid clinical photographer and videographer; her work has appeared in professional and lay publications. She is the mother of two college students, and shares her life with her musician husband. Her textbook on improving sucking skills in breastfeeding infants will be published by Jones and Bartlett Publishers in mid-2007.
